How to connect to and interact with games

On to the fun part – playing the games! Located at the bottom of the app, you can access the Web3 browser by clicking on Play. Once here, you can use the search bar to start searching up your favorite games. Let's search up CryptoKitties as an example.

Note: Each game will have its own onboarding experience. This is one example of the steps usually required to connect to Web3 games.   

• Tap on Play and use the search bar to look up 'Cryptokitties'

• Once you've loaded up the game from the search results, along the bottom of the page, you will be able to see your ETH balance, some navigation controls, and a bookmark option (more on that later). For now, click on 'Start' to create your account 

• You must now grant permission for CryptoKitties to view your wallet address. Every game you connect to will require this step. Click 'Allow' to continue on. You may also view all of your approved games under 'Settings > Privacy Mode'

• Once you've entered your email and nickname (account name) – you must sign the transaction with your wallet address. All Ethereum transactions require this signature as you are the sole owner of your decentralized wallet. Click 'Sign' to continue

Once you've signed the transaction – that's it! You'll be free to begin playing CryptoKitties (or whichever game you're connecting to). For an intro guide into how CryptoKitties works, they have a fantastic beginner's guide here. Their community is also very active on Discord!

Lastly, when you're no longer using Dapper but wish to quickly navigate back to games – you can actually add them as a bookmark. When they've been bookmarked, the next time you open up the browser, you will see a list of your recent searches and your bookmarks. Use this feature to avoid having to search up the game each time!
