When you open up the Android app for the first time, you may notice that you currently don't have any ETH (or cryptocurrencies) in your wallet. Let's fix that! There are two ways to transfer ETH to your wallet – either by scanning the QR code under the plus icon or by sending ETH directly to your wallet address.
Using the QR code
If you or a friend already have a mobile wallet, you can directly send ETH to Dapper by scanning the wallet's QR code. Alternatively, you can share both your wallet address and QR code to a friend using the Android share menu. Click on Share and you can send out the code using any of your preferred apps!
Using the wallet address
The other option is to directly use your wallet address. You may copy the wallet address to the clipboard by clicking Copy wallet address and paste the address in the 'To' field of either another wallet or exchange. Another way to copy your wallet address can be found on the home screen. Tap the wallet icon beneath your token balance and the full address will be copied to your clipboard.
Note: Other collectible tokens can be transferred to Dapper using the same QR code or wallet address.
Once you have ETH in your wallet, you will see a couple of new prompts on the home screen. Your total balance will be updated with the current USD exchange rate below. A Received ETH transaction event will be recorded in the Activities section. You can view the transaction details by clicking the notification. Finally, a new button to send ETH out will become available allowing you to share your newly found wealth (or transfer ETH to another wallet!).
Where to purchase ETH
If you're purchasing ETH (or other cryptocurrencies) for the first time, you will want to use an exchange service. Coinbase, Binance or Gemini all offer easy to use interfaces to start purchasing cryptocurrencies.
Next, let's walk through where to view your tokens, how to send them out, and viewing the details of your transactions.
