There may be a few reasons why this error message pops up. Before going through these troubleshooting steps, make sure you're using Dapper on the latest version of Chrome. Using Dapper on other browsers like Brave or Firefox may result in issues.
Often, the error message may be tied to a local network issue or to Dapper being caught in an error state. A 'refresh' of the extension will often clear the error.
To refresh Dapper:
- Open up Dapper, click the question mark icon (?) and hit refresh.
- Go to the menu icon in the top right of your Chrome browser, scroll down to 'More Tools', click 'Extensions', and toggle the blue slider beside the Dapper icon off and back on.
- Exit out of Chrome and toggle your WiFi on and off. Open up Chrome and log into Dapper.
If you're still getting the error, send an email over to support@meetdapper.com and a professional wallet warmer will help you out!
